enough to begin.

This is a community for people who want another way to stay connected. Ask a question, try a small radio, or bring a skill you already have.

A COMMUNITY EFFORT

There is room
for your kind of help.

A newcomer’s question, a careful test, a useful introduction or a little practical help can move the project forward. You don’t need to know the acronyms.

Come with a question

Start with how you’d like to participate: send a first message, understand local coverage, help test a route, host equipment, or introduce a promising site owner. You don’t need to arrive knowing the acronyms.

Keep the shared network useful

  • Keep initial messages short and avoid repeated test floods.
  • Respect other people’s locations, identities and private conversations.
  • Ask before advertising a location or changing shared infrastructure.
  • Describe a test result as a test result, with its limitations.
  • Be patient and helpful with people learning the basics.
